Hanna is  interested in determining the genetic underpinnings of intraspecific variation in leaf phenology variation, with a focus on sugar maples (Acer saccharum). Hanna is also a member of the Reinmann lab at the ARSC and is funded through the Black Rock Forest Ecology Fellowship. She joins us after recieving her PhD in the Galloway lab at the University of Virginia where she studied plant mating system evolution.
